About us
The Global Scholarship Program - an initiative by SOS-Kinderdörfer weltweit
SOS Children’s Villages is an international federation with a network of over one hundred associations worldwide that has grown over decades. In Germany, this includes the association "SOS-Kinderdörfer weltweit - Hermann-Gmeiner-Fonds Deutschland", whose task it is to finance and promote the worldwide facilities and programs of SOS Children’s Villages - including the Global Scholarship Program (GSP).
We stand up for every child - regardless of nationality, skin color, religion or ethnicity. We have made it our mission to strengthen children, young people and families in need and to support them on their path towards a self-determined future. The Global Scholarship Program is an important part of this work.
Worldwide promotion of the Global Scholarship Program
The Global Scholarship Program operates worldwide and supports disadvantaged young people in Africa, Asia, Latin America, North America, Europe and Australia. We have offices at various locations to provide comprehensive support for students worldwide and individual advice on site:
